3-Day Desert Tour from Marrakech to Fes

Get to know some of the most fascinating places in Morocco on this 3-day Desert Tour. Discover the fortified town of Aït Ben Haddou, a world heritage site, and enjoy the famous Dades Gorges and the Valley of the Roses. Ride a camel through the Merzouga Desert and enjoy a unique awakening among the dunes.

  • Day 1 : Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Skoura – Dades Gorge

    Pick-up at your hotel or the airport. We’ll start the journey from Marrakech by heading toward the Tichka Pass, which crosses the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we’ll have several occasions to stop and enjoy the incredible views from the high Atlas mountain range of North Africa.
    On the way to Ouarzazate, we’ll stop at Aït Ben Haddou, a world heritage site, and discover fascinating secret kasbahs.
    We will continue our way through the Valley of the Roses to the Dades Valley, where we’ll enjoy the impressive Dades Gorges. We will have dinner and a night together along the Dades River.

  • Day 2 : Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Erfoud -Risani – Merzouga

    After breakfast, we will continue our way along the banks of the Boumalne River, where we will be surprised by Kasbahs and fortresses, surrounded by a reddish landscape.
    Our next stop will be in Tinghir to visit the incredible Todra Gorges. Later, we will continue our journey to Erfoud, the City of Fossils. Finally, we pass through Rissani to Merzouga. Dinner and overnight stay in front of the high dunes of Erg Chebbi.

  • Day 3 : Merzouga – Erfoud – Errachidia – Midelt – Cedar Forest – Fes

    We will get up early to explore the desert on the backs of dromedaries, and enjoy one of the most spectacular images: sunrise over the dunes. Then, in this magical setting, enjoy a typical breakfast in your tent, after which we will change from dromedaries to 4 x 4s, and embark on our route to Fez.
    On the way, we pass through the Valley of Ziz, Errachidia and Midelt and we’ll stop at a cedar forest, where we will visit the famous “Gouraud” Cedar.
    We will arrive at Fez in the afternoon.
